Carolina Nagy

“I love music, I learn music, and therefore I dedicate my career to teaching music.”

Viva La Musica

Carolina recently moved to Stonewall, Manitoba from Ottawa. A native of Manitoba, Carolina was working on Orchestral Studies at the University of Ottawa while playing as an associate member of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra.

Upon completing her studies, remained in Ottawa to teach private violin, piano and theory lessons while gaining experience as a freelance musician. Prior to her move to Ottawa, Carolina completed her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and worked on her Masters in Performance at the University of Manitoba Marcel Desautels Faculty of Music.

Carolina has been teaching violin for 16 years, 6 of which were devoted to the Division of Preparatory Studies at the University of Manitoba, as well as providing lessons out of her private home studio.

Carolina’s lessons help students of any skill level not only be the best musicians they can be, but to love the journey along the way. At the heart of her teaching philosophy is the belief that building confidence and creativity through learning music fuels passion in all areas of ones life.
